feat(characters): short framing-first portrait prompt; the sheet follows what the finished portrait shows
Some checks are pending
Test and SonarQube / quality (push) Waiting to run

Portrait backdrop measured 0/4 -> 4/4 plain on the failing character, no
change on the one that already passed. After the portrait passes, the vision
model describes hair, facial hair and eyes, and the turnaround and story
prompts are rebuilt with it -- a character with no hair in his sheet got a
different haircut on the sheet and failed the same-person check 3/3.
Costume cut and colours restored for armed characters. v1.41.0.

## [Unreleased]
## [1.41.0] — 2026-09-21
### Changed
- **The character sheet follows the finished profile picture.** After the portrait is made and checked, what it shows (hair colour, length and style, facial hair, eye colour) is written into the turnaround and story-moment prompts, so a character whose sheet says nothing about hair no longer gets long hair in the portrait and a crop on the sheet.
### Fixed
- **Profile portraits in a forest instead of the studio.** The portrait prompt is now short and framing-first as well (like the turnaround in 1.40.0): measured on a character that got scenery in 4 of 4 portraits, 4 of 4 now have the plain studio backdrop.
- Armed characters again get their own costume cut and colours in the sheet (lost when the turnaround prompt was shortened).

now goes. "faded blue wool coat" stays (a costume, not a scar).
* Hedges "unklar" / "wird erwähnt" drop speculative sentences.
Open: robes can still come out with ragged hems; the portrait and story-moment prompts are still long and
get the same framing-first treatment next, measured the same way.
**Portrait (identity image) got the same treatment.** Old prompt ~2 800-3 700 characters, new ~875, framing
first ("full-length studio photograph … head to shoes … head in the upper third … plain white studio"). Identity
renders cropped exactly as the profile picture is, scored by the portrait check, 4 seeds each:
| | old prompt | new prompt |
|---|---|---|
| Karyla | 0/4 (scenery backdrop every time) | 4/4 |
| Darrag | 4/4 | 4/4 |
Both prompts share one rules line, which now again carries the per-character costume cut and colours for armed
characters (`_character_design_variation`; the first short turnaround had dropped it) and names the setting
("in the world of The Dark Eye"). The portrait asks for empty hands; weapon handling stays in the story prompt.
**The sheet follows the finished portrait.** After the portrait passes its check, the vision model describes what
it shows (`look`: hair colour/length/style, facial hair, eye colour, `look_phrase`, punctuation stripped and short),
and the turnaround and story prompts are rebuilt with "exactly as in the portrait: …". Found on Darrag, whose sheet
says nothing about hair: the portrait had shoulder-length hair and the turnaround a crop; the face transfer copied
the face but not the hair, and the same-person check failed on all three sheet attempts. Best effort: no
description, no change.
Open: robes can still come out with ragged hems; the story-moment prompt is still long.
