mARTin d92a8c7210 feat: add task actions (notes/delete) and refine animation logic
- Added 'onDelete' and 'onNotes' support to TaskItem.
- Implemented hover actions (Delete and Notes icons) for tasks.
- Added Notes Modal for editing task markdown content.
- Simplified navigation animation to remove blank flash (single-phase slide-in).
- Fixed syntax error in updateTask function.
- Updated styles for modal and task actions.

# Phase 1: Setup & Foundation
**Analysis Date:** 2026-01-24
## Domain Boundary
The scope of Phase 1: Setup & Foundation is limited to establishing the foundational technical infrastructure and core UI components necessary for the weekly todo list application. This phase encompasses:
- Project initialization with appropriate tooling and framework selection
- Core component architecture and implementation
- Basic UI layout and user interaction patterns
- Data persistence layer (localStorage)
- Navigation controls for week progression
- Drag-and-drop functionality for task reorganization
- Integration of fundamental dependencies
This phase does not include:
- Calendar integration features
- Advanced task management capabilities
- Data export/import functionality
- Multi-user features
- Offline functionality
- Mobile-specific optimizations
## Implementation Decisions
### UI Layout and Presentation
- **Layout Style**: Timeline-based with fixed width days, presenting a clean weekly view organized by day
- **Task Presentation**: Mixed approach - tasks are stacked vertically within each day slot, with some time-based positioning for better visual organization
- **Visual Differentiation**: Different colors and styling used to distinguish tasks from calendar events in the view
- **Task Card Design**: Basic information display including title and date only, focusing on core task details
### Data Management
- **Persistence**: Connected to browser's localStorage for data persistence between sessions
- **Storage Layer**: Custom persistence functions implemented for saving and loading tasks
- **Data Structure**: Tasks stored with full metadata including ID, title, date, description, completion status, and optional category
### Navigation and Interaction
- **Navigation Controls**: Both standard previous/next buttons and a date picker for direct navigation between weeks
- **Interaction Model**: Drag-and-drop mechanics enabled for moving tasks between days in the calendar view
- **View Switching**: Basic capability for switching between day and week views (though week view is primary focus)
## OpenCode's Discretion
OpenCode has flexibility to implement the following aspects:
- Component styling and visual design within the constraints of a clean, minimalist interface
- Specific implementation details of drag-and-drop integration
- Refinement of the mixed presentation approach for tasks within the weekly grid
- Optimization of data persistence methods for performance
- UI/UX enhancements within the established framework
## Specific Ideas
### Component Architecture
- Implement a structured component hierarchy with clear separation of concerns:
- CalendarGrid: Main container for the weekly view
- TaskCard: Individual task representation with editing capabilities
- NavigationControls: Previous/next week navigation with date picker
- TaskForm: Modal or inline form for task creation/editing
### Data Flow
- Establish a clear data flow pattern where:
- CalendarGrid receives task data and manages state
- TaskCard handles individual task interactions
- NavigationControls coordinate week switching
- Data persistence functions handle storage operations
### State Management
- Implement a centralized state management approach for:
- Current week display
- Task data
- Navigation state
- UI interaction states
## Deferred Ideas
The following features and enhancements are intentionally deferred to later phases:
### Calendar Integration
- Google Calendar and Apple Calendar connection functionality
- Calendar event synchronization with tasks
- Event filtering and visibility controls
### Advanced Task Management
- Recurring tasks with various recurrence patterns
- Category/tag assignment system
- Reminder and priority setting capabilities
- Detailed task descriptions and notes
### Data Management
- Export to CSV/JSON functionality
- Import from CSV/JSON functionality
- Manual backup and restore capabilities
### User Experience Enhancements
- Mobile-responsive design optimizations
- Multi-user collaboration features
- Advanced filtering and search capabilities
- Rich text formatting for task descriptions
