Gaps Summary
Phase 2 successfully implemented the core data structures and UI components for advanced task management features, including recurring tasks, categories/tags, reminders, and priority levels. However, several key user experience and navigation features are missing or incomplete:
- Navigation Controls: The previous/next week buttons exist in the UI but don't actually update the calendar view state.
- View Switching: There's no ability to switch between day and week views.
- Drag and Drop: No functionality to reorganize tasks between days.
- Advanced Forms: Editing tasks doesn't include recurrence settings.
- Minimalist Design: While functional, the interface doesn't fully achieve a clean, minimalist aesthetic.
- Missing Components: NavigationControls.tsx was planned but never created.
- Calendar Event Integration: The system doesn't yet support displaying calendar events alongside tasks.
- Enhanced Features: Several advanced features like reminders and notifications are only partially implemented.
